After being spoiled by living in Bergen County and having great pizza and food in general available pretty much wherever I was I found most pizza places around Walden good but nothing to write home about. And that's even after being told this place has good food or that place has good food. So I read a few reviews from another fellow local and the reviews spoke to me ands described the food the way I feel I would. The reviews from this person also highlighted the same things I would look for. So despite skepticism for trying yet another pizza place I went here today. Well people, the trip paid off. I ordered two sausage slices, one deep dish, two plain slices and one LARGE (and by LARGE I mean really huge) calzone to go. Everything was delicious! My husband said his slices were the best yet. The crust to the deep dish is the way a good crush should be. Just the right amount of crunch and it was the right amount of chewy (for lack of a better word). The calzone was well made with tons of cheese and well out together. The dough was seasoned well and there were some extra herbs on it as well. Finally the icing on the cake was their sauce. It was almost on level with a good home cooked sauce. I was pleasantly surprised. The only reason I don't give five stars is my order took a little long and they somehow had no take home menus. But their specials look like pretty good deals and they seem to have one for every day of the week, especially football Sundays.

An extensive menu of salads and traditional platters/sanwiches (chicken parm, eggplant, sausage, etc) and pizzas - i like this spot not only for it's food but for it's location to the park. It's a perfect place to grab lunch and go hang out with your kiddos. Maybe a little bridge connecting the park to the pizza place is in some future plans somewhere?

Fantastic NY style pizza, reliable delivery and reasonable prices. I've been eating here for the last 6 years since I moved out this way and can't remember a disappointing experience. Sandwiches, wings, pasta and appetizers are all great. My favorite pizza joint in the Walden area if not all of Orange County.

In a town with two traffic lights and five pizza places you had better stand out. There are plenty of other choices. Pizza Plus has very good pizza. The pies are large, the crust is crewy without being doughy, the cheese is a good quality and the sauce is flavorful. Delivery has always been freindly and prompt and the sit down service good as well. What really is a stand out is the Chicken Parm dinner. Huge portion with lots of tomato sauce and cheese as well as a salad and fresh baked bread. Often its my dinner one night and my lunch the next day. Easily my favorite dish. The garlic knots are very garlicy by oily and doughy. I've tried every pizza place in this town and keep coming back to Pizza Plus.

There pizza is ok as well as their wings. The thing I dislike the most is the large amount of grease. But, there's worse places.
